Rheumatology Clinical Cases

This website is a set of interactive patient simulations. On the next page you will have the choice to choose from a list of patients and then you can start collecting information to make your diagnosis. You need to uncover clues by asking questions and by deciding upon laboratory tests to undertake. Each test is costed, to give you some idea of how much these thing really cost, and a running total of charges is displayed at the end of the each case finished.

Lab tests include: Radiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Histopathology and Haematology. When you have enough information to attempt a diagnosis, you can proceed to the diagnosis page where you need to choose from the list of "possibilities...". If you make the correct diagnosis then you will have to select the correct treament for the patient. But if you make a wrong diagnosis then I suggest that you re-examine your patient.

A user guide can be found by clicking on the link below or on the library link which appears on later pages.
